What does unbreakable mean?
gloryfy unbreakable eyewear – unbreakable glasses “Made in Austria” out of innovative and patented special NBFX plastic. Developed, designed, produced and tested every day by a small team in the middle of the Alps, in Tyrol’s Ziller Valley. gloryfy unbreakable glasses made out of NBFX (G-Flex and I-Flex) always return to their original shape even after considerable deformation (European Patent Trademark)! New technologies are tested and research results are integrated and implemented into the production of unbreakable products in the company’s own lab including clean room.
gloryfy glasses are totally unbreakable and even safe with airbags. Furthermore, our glasses have the following certifications: STANAG N° 2920, ISO 12312, ANSI Z80.3 and AS/NZS 1067. The risk of injuring your eyes due to your glasses breaking in an accident is therefore ruled out as no fragments or any other parts break off even under extreme force. Besides perfect protection for eyes, the gloryfy wearer is also offered a product that contributes significantly to a carefree and easier everyday life. Expensive repairs because you sat on them or worries about broken or bent glasses/parts are therefore history as the unbreakable glasses from gloryfy unbreakable forgive everyday mishaps. “unbreakable” is not the same as “undestroyable” though. Our guarantee does not apply if the glasses are not handled properly and are wilfully destroyed!
How long is the guarantee on my glasses?
The warranty or guarantee period for gloryfy products is two years. Complaints are acknowledged and carefully checked as a result but the purchase receipt is essential for this.
Where are gloryfy unbreakable products produced?
In Austria’s Ziller Valley – which is why we can proudly claim MADE IN AUSTRIA as a quality feature on our glasses. Guaranteeing the production secret and short paths between development, production and sales are crucial arguments for why gloryfy glasses are still being produced in Austria. Christoph Egger, inventor and CEO of gloryfy: “gloryfy unbreakable products are extremely complex – this requires direct contact with development. What is so special about the gloryfy lenses?
gloryfy unbreakable lenses are made out of the unique unbreakable NBFX material. A unique contrast effect due to internal dyeing, protection thanks to the totally unbreakable and shatterproof material, 100% UVA/UVB protection and top optical quality (ABBE number 45) are just a few of our CONTOUR LENSE TECHNOLOGY qualities. What kind of lenses does gloryfy unbreakable offer?
We offer a number of different lenses to cover all needs. Whether it’s light or dark tinting, polarised lenses or photochromic lenses – we have the right lens for any purpose! The same applies to the lenses from our OPTICS collection: unbreakable technology at its best! We also offer several different coatings with our unbreakable prescription lenses:

Are your lenses scratch-resistant?
gloryfy unbreakable lenses made from NBFX have a hard coating and high scratch resistance. Nevertheless, gloryfy lenses can be scratched if not handled properly. If you accidentally scratch them, it is much harder to see the scratch thanks to the lenses’ internal dyeing and therefore less annoying than with standard lenses. However, the scratching of lenses is not included in the warranty conditions.
Can I read displays with your polarised lenses?
Yes, there are generally not any problems reading displays with gloryfy polarisation lenses.
Can I order a model with other lenses?
No, you can only order gloryfy glasses with the lenses that are integrated as standard on www.gloryfy.com. However, there is a large selection of replacement lenses for the SPORT collection. Thanks to the Quick Change Lens system you can change the lenses easily yourself in just a few seconds. You can find the whole collection of replacement lenses here.
Do you also produce gloryfy prescription sunglasses?
Yes, almost all the models in the SPORT (except G11, G19, G20, G21) and SUN collection are available with prescription lenses! You can obtain more information about this from our specialist opticians. You can find all our current retail partners in our retailer search.
Are there gloryfy prescription glasses and can I also buy them online?
Yes, our innovative gloryfy OPTICS collection has been available since spring 2016 – the combination of unbreakable frames and unbreakable lenses is unique. You can find the whole collection here.
What do the different sizes M and L mean with the SUN and OPTICS collection models?
The sizes M and L refer to the width of the frame. Size M glasses are 131 mm wide, size L glasses are 143 mm wide.
Are there also children?s glasses from gloryfy?
Yes, the all new gloryfy JUNIOR for all unbreakable kids between 6 and 12! The unbreakable NBFX frame, lenses and temples provide best protection while playing in the sun and prevent eye injuries in case of an accident. The memory effect of this featherlight material always gets back to its original form. The advantage of the mass colored lenses is that tiny scratches can’t really be noticed, as the material offers the same tint on each point of the lens. Our CONTOUR lens technology provides best contrast and realistic colors even at low light. Another technical highlight is the Dynamic Flow Grip system, which provides an ideal and safe fit and perfectly adapts to each shape of the head.
What's the best way to clean my lenses?
It’s best to use the gloryfy microfibre cleaning bag, which is supplied free with every order. Lenses can also be cleaned with lukewarm water. Please note that you should not use any cleaning products, for example soap. The lenses are a very sensitive part of your glasses so please treat them with care (and lots of love!). Avoid paper tissues, damp cleaning wipes or liquids that contain alcohol or other corrosive agents as these substances can damage the lenses’ scratch-resistant coating.
How does the BOX OF GLORY work?
You have the option to have up to 5 pairs of sunglasses sent to you to try at home. You can then try them on at home stress free for five days, to find your personal favourite pair of glasses and keep them. Please simply send the rest of the glasses back to us with the free post label.
I thought the BOX OF GLORY was free. Why do I have to give my credit card details?
We need a valid credit card for your order, but don't worry – the BOX OF GLORY is still free! Your credit card will only be charged if you don't send the glasses back.
During the order process you will be asked to enter a valid credit card number. We need your credit card information for security reasons. The order amount will only be reserved on the card to start with! Your card will only be charged if you don't send back your BOX OF GLORY. To avoid this fee, your BOX OF GLORY must be provided with a postage stamp and be on the way back to gloryfy unbreakable by the fifth full day after delivery. We will also send you an e-mail reminder, so that you don't forget to return the box on time. If the trial period ends on a weekend or bank holiday, you can simply send it back on the next possible working day.
How do I send the BOX OF GLORY back?
Please simply send us back your BOX OF GLORY with the attached return label from your parcel. Return postage is free with this label. You can post it at the nearest post office. Please ensure that you send the glasses back in the original packaging and without any traces of wear.
Unfortunately, there were no suitable pairs – can I send all the pairs back?

When does the final invoice arrive for the glasses?
The final balance for your glasses will only be send after your BOX OF GLORY has been returned. Of course, you will only be charged for the glasses that you kept. We will debit the relevant amount from your credit card and send you the invoice by e-mail.
Can I redeem discount codes for the BOX OF GLORY?
You are welcome to enter your discount code when ordering the BOX OF GLORY. If you have forgotten to enter the code on order completion, you can make a note of it in your return documents or enclose it, or send it to us by e-mail at email@example.com.
Why can’t I select my favourite sunglasses for the BOX OF GLORY?
You can try on almost all of our glasses at home! However, if certain frames are not available, this is either because they are currently out of stock, or not released for trying on at home at the moment due to low stocks.
In this case, we recommend our virtual trial fitting or a regular order with our 14 day right to return.
I have ordered a second BOX OF GLORY. Why is the delivery delayed?
We would be pleased to send you a second BOX OF GLORY. Please note that we always send the boxes one after another. However, the new order will only be sent once we have received your first box back.
Are my credit card details secure on your site?
All data that you send to us through our webshop (contact details, order details, credit card information) are sent to us encrypted (SSL—Secure Sockets Layer or also Transport Layer Security, a network protocol for the secure transfer of data, including from Internet sites). Your credit card details are not sent to us but sent directly to our certified payment provider Computop.

Therefore you can adjust the temples YOURSELF at any time. This technology is built into all LIFESTYLE and OPTICS models. Are you lying comfortably on the couch and relaxing? Then you can adjust the temples so that the glasses have a relaxed fir (bend the temples upwards). Are you on your way to the next top sporting performance, and your glasses need to sit really securely? No problem, just bend the ends of the temples down so that maximum hold is ensured.
Which glasses can have prescription lenses put in?
Almost all of our glasses can be made to your prescription. We offer both corrective frames and sport & sunglasses with prescription lenses. The only exceptions are our sports sunglasses G11, G19, G20 & G21.
How and/or where can I buy prescription sunglasses?
We only fit prescription lenses in our sunglasses in cooperation with our gloryfy retailers. Particularly with sports sunglasses, an adequate consultation and the precise measurement of the glasses are very important. The optician on site will also be pleased to help you choose the right model for you. It’s easy to find a suitable gloryfy retailer in your area using our retailer search.
How and/or where can I buy prescription gloryfy corrective glasses?
You can find the full range of our innovative gloryfy OPTICS collection with our retailers. Here you can order both single vision or varifocal lenses. The optician will also be pleased to help you choose the right model for you.
I already have gloryfy unbreakable sunglasses. Can I buy prescription lenses for them after the fact?
Of course you can have your favourite glasses fitted with prescription lenses for sunglasses by an optician, even after the fact. It’s easy to find the gloryfy retailers in your area using our retailer search.
What are single vision glasses?
With single vision lenses, each lens is produced with a uniform prescription. Most frequently, glasses with single vision lenses are produced as distance glasses. However, they can also be used to correct far sightedness (near-distance glasses).
In contrast to single vision lenses, varifocals have several prescriptions included in one lens, to correct several visual impairments at once.
What are varifocals/progressive vision?
With varifocal lenses, various prescriptions are integrated into various fields of vision in the lens. In this way, stageless vision is achieved at various distances. Depending on the area of the lens you look through, you can see clearly at the relevant distance.
In the upper area of the lens is the distance area for optimum distance vision. Below it, in the middle part of the lens is the area of vision for objects in the middle distance, such as computers or similar. The lower area of the lens is also described as the reading area and allows unimpaired vision at close distance.
Are prescription gloryfy glasses also available as varifocals/progressive vision?
Yes, we produce both single vision and varifocal/progressive vision lenses for our gloryfy unbreakable glasses. Varifocal lenses can only be ordered via our gloryfy retailers. You can find the nearest opticians in your area using the retailer search.

What do the abbreviations on my glasses pass and/or glasses prescription mean?
The individual values on the glasses pass give information on the visual impairment, and are needed to adjust the lenses of the glasses optimally to your eyes. You can find a short explanation of the most important abbreviations here:
R = right eye
L = left eye
D = stands for distance glasses
N = means near distance glasses (reading glasses)
Sph = Sphere
The sphere describes the degree of curvature required to correct the visual impairment. The unit for this is called dioptres. These are counted in 0.25 steps. Negative values mean short-sightedness and positive values mean far sightedness.
Cyl = cylinder
You will only find an entry for the cylinder value if an astigmatism is present. In this case, the cylinder will balance out the uneven area in the eye.
A = Axis
The axis value is directly connected to the cylinder, and is urgently required if a cylinder value is entered. By implication, there will be no entry for the axis if there is no cylinder value present. The axis value is between 0° and 180°.
PD = Pupil distance
The pupil distance describes the distance from the middle of the pupil to the nasal root (middle of the nose). The pupil distance is measured in mm and is an important value for the optimum adjustment of your glasses.
ADD = Addition
The addition is an important value when making varifocals. It describes the difference between the existing near distance and distance values. Please note that varifocals can only be ordered directly via one of our gloryfy retailers.
What is the maximum strength for lenses?
As a reference value, a strength of +/- 6.5 dpt. applies in the strongest main section. Please contact our gloryfy retailers in your area for a personal consultation. You can find one using our retailer search.
Are gloryfy corrective lenses also available with blue light filter (coll. blue blocker glasses)?
We would be pleased to make your unbreakable corrective lenses with a blue light filter. Please contact one of our gloryfy retailers in your area (retailer search) about this. The blue light filter also called blue blocker, protects the eyes and saves them from harmful blue light (e.g. from screens). Please note that the blue light filter cannot be subsequently integrated.
Are prescription corrective and sunglasses also available with prisms?
It is no problem to produce gloryfy lenses with prisms. Please contact one of our experienced gloryfy retailers in your area about this (retailer search).
How can I measure my pupil distance?
The pupil distance is an important detail for us for the individual production of your glasses. It is measured from the distance from the middle of the pupil to the nasal root, when you look straight ahead. If the pupil distance is not stated on your glasses pass or ophthalmologists prescription, you can easily measure it yourself with a ruler or your credit card (see FAQ area "measure pupil distance").
What range of finishes/coatings are available for corrective lenses?
Ultimately with corrective lenses, you can choose between completely clear lenses and photochromatic lenses. Photochromatic means that the lenses darken to the chosen colour (anthracite or brown) independently in the case of sufficient UV radiation, whilst clear lenses always remain clear.
All our clear/photochromatic prescription corrective lenses are fitted with gloryfy premium coating as standard (super hard layer – UV protection – super anti-reflection coating on both sides). As an upgrade, you can also finish your lenses with the first class coating (super hard layer – UV protection – super anti-reflection – hydrophobic clean layer), i.e. with the Lotus effect.
What selection of colours and functions are available for prescription sunglasses lenses?
You can choose individual prescription sunglasses from a range of different lens colours, tone level and functions. Both polarised and photochromatic lenses can be ordered. The only thing that is not available compared to the plane lenses without prescription strength is TRANSPOL lenses (photochromatic AND polarised). To make the right choice for you, it is best to have a specialist consultation with your gloryfy optical retailer near you. You can find one using the retailer search.
What finishes/coatings are available for prescription sunglasses lenses?
All our prescription sunglasses lenses are fitted with gloryfy premium coating as standard (super hard layer – UV protection). As an upgrade you can also finish your prescription sports sunglasses lenses with the first class coating (super hard layer – UV protection – super anti-reflection – hydrophobic clean layer) on the reverse side or both sides.
Of course, the lenses can also be mirrored in various designs, then the first class coating on the rear side is automatically included. The following colours are available as mirrored coating: red, blue, yellow-gold, green and silver.

How long does the guarantee and/or warranty last for?
Basically, a 1 year statutory guarantee and 1 year warranty apply from the invoice date in the case of proper handling. You can find the exact guarantee conditions on the package insert (guarantee booklet).

Delivery within Austria
Our shipping partner for Austria is the Austrian Post.

Delivery to Switzerland and Liechtenstein
Our shipping partner is the Swiss Post. The shipment is delivered duty paid (DDP). This means no further costs for the receiver.
What are your general delivery times?
If an order is received on www.gloryfy.com by midday we generally send it out on the same day (working day). Delivery takes 1-2 working days in Austria and up to 3 working days in Germany. Deliveries can take up to 10 working days in the EU. The delivery can take up to 14 days in non-EU countries due to customs.
How can I return my glasses?
If you are not 100% happy with your gloryfy glasses, you can return them to us without stating a reason within 2 weeks (14 days) of your order. You have to return them to us in the original packaging with the invoice.
With payments made by credit card, instant bank transfer and PayPal, the purchase amount is credited using the same payment method. With payments made by instant bank transfer and advance payment, you have to enclose the account details with the package so that we can credit the amount to you as we do not have your account details. Please do not return goods with the postage unpaid as we cannot accept such packages.
What is my order status?
All of our shipments can be tracked using a tracking number on the Austrian Post website (www.post.at). Once you have successfully completed your purchase you will receive an e-mail containing your tracking number within 36 hours (excluding weekends).
I did not receive an email with the order confirmation, what can I do?
Please look for it in your spam folder first of all. If you don’t find a confirmation email from us there either and you have still not received confirmation after 24 hours, please contact our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Why can't I find anything on www.post.at with the tracking number that I received?
This tracking number can only be seen on www.post.at 24-36 hours after the order.
My package still has not arrived, what can I do?
All of our shipments can be tracked using a tracking number on the Austrian Post website (www.post.at). Once you have successfully completed your purchase you will receive an email containing your tracking number within 24 hours (except weekends). If you cannot find any information about where your package is using this tracking number, please contact email@example.com

PayPal is an online payment service with which you can pay online easily, quickly and securely. You will need a PayPal account for this which functions like an online bank account. It is free to register. You only have to enter you details once and you can use it in all online shops that offer PayPal so that you can shop securely without having to enter in your details every time.
Payment process: To pay with PayPal, select PayPal as payment method during the order process. Once the order has been confirmed you will be led though the payment process without having to enter in any more details. As soon as you have completed this process your order will be processed. Instant bank transfer
Instant bank transfer is one of the easiest and safest online payment services with TÜV-certified data protection. This payment method is carried out by SOFORT Überweisung. The transfer is done in real time and is faster than advance payment. You don’t need to register, create a suspense account or enter your credit card details. You only need an online bank account. Instant bank transfer is a free service and there are no transaction costs.
Payment process: During the order process, select instant bank transfer as your payment method. Once you have completed your order you can log in using your account number and sort code and confirm your payment with your PIN and TAN. As soon as the payment is in our account, your order will be processed and shipped promptly.
If you choose to use advance payment you can transfer the amount to our bank account. As soon as we have received the payment your order will be processed and shipped promptly.
Payment process: During the order process, select advance payment as your payment method. Once you have confirmed your order, you will receive information on how to pay in an email. Simply transfer the outstanding amount to our bank account. Please ensure that you transfer the amount “without any costs to the recipient”.
